This time of year is full of excitement–a new school year, the return of football (Skol Vikes!), and pumpkin spice all around. There are some exciting things happening at Penz Dental Care, too!
Penz Dental Care opened six years ago this month! Over the last year, we realized the need to expand our team in order to better serve our patients. Opportunities to add excellent providers don’t come around very often, so when we welcomed Dr. Christina Pauley to our office, I was beyond excited to do so.
They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but we are proof that it does! Recently, we had the rare opportunity to add another provider to our office. I am proud to announce that Dr. David Wold is starting at Penz Dental Care this week. Dr. Wold and I studied dentistry together at the University of Minnesota. When I recently sought out advanced training in Biomimetic dentistry, I reconnected with Dr. Wold as he is a mentor for the Alleman Center for Biomimetic Dentistry. Not only is he a tremendous dentist who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our office; he is also a great person. He and his family are excited to return home to Minnesota and serve this community. Read more about Dr. Wold on our staff page.
As I’ve told Dr. Pauley and Dr. Wold many times over the last few months, I pinch myself to make sure this isn’t all a dream. I cannot imagine working alongside two providers that so perfectly fit the mission and philosophy of care that has already been established at Penz Dental Care.
Adding these providers will bring many benefits to our clinic:
It provides the ability to continue to deliver high quality dentistry and connect with our patients.
It opens treatment times so you can be seen sooner for an appointment or have an emergency taken care of in a timely manner.
We will collaborate to provide the highest level of treatment, as I truly believe that iron sharpens iron.
It will push us to be the best we can be for our patients each and every day.
I would not consider bringing on additional providers unless I felt strongly that they will treat each and every one of you like family, just as I hope I have for the past six years.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate these exciting changes. Your loyalty and trust are never taken for granted. We value each opportunity to connect with you, and we consider you a part of our PDC family. I look forward to seeing you soon, as well as introducing you to Dr. Pauley and Dr. Wold.
Best,
Matt Penz, DDS
